Movement Foundations For Beginners

Movement Foundations classes for beginners, following specific themes to help you go deeper in your understanding of your body and yourself.

These classes are designed around developing your own sense of physical literacy so that you feel more confident in your own skin, can coordinate your movement better, reduce need to go to the chiropractor and if you do have any issues, you're better equipped to ask for more specific help.

Head, Neck, Shoulders, Spine

A workshop for getting into the finer details of how your head, neck, shoulders and spine work together. We look at common alignment patterns and key landmarks, and at ways of reducing tension in the places we tend to hold it.

You'll go home with a simple set of moves to use whenever you need them, and a clearer sense of how to hold your head high and walk tall.

Breath, Core, Pelvic Floor

An introduction to how your breath relates to core and pelvic floor activation and function. We also look at how this fits into the wider picture of alignment, bigger movements and adding load.

It's a big topic, so this session is a starting point. We slow down, find the key landmarks and begin building the understanding that everything else grows from.
